Signs that we are adapting to France: #7

This is how much cheese is in our fridge right now.  No special occasion or anything coming up. Not having anyone over for dinner etc.

Remember - this is one of three shelves in the fridge.

I can count at least 13 kinds of cheese.

I believe Charles de Gaulle said it best:
"Comment voulez-vous gouverner un pays qui a deux cent quarante-six variétés de fromage?"

("How can you govern a country which has two hundred and forty-six varieties of cheese?")

I don't know Charles - and to be honest - the governing part is not as much my concern.  I'm more concerned with how does one make sure that they have eaten all 246?

  1. You should definitely make that a goal while you are there - to try all 246 kinds!! Start yourself a cheese journal, Charles :)
